Maxim's Hot 100 - always featured in the June issue -- is the definitive list of the 100 up-and-coming women in film, television, music, sports, and fashion who will dominate our cultural landscape for the next 12 months. Not to be discounted, even the New York Times Magazine has said the Hot 100 was one of Hollywood's prime casting guides.
On Sunday, May 22nd, VH1 aired "Maxim Hot 100" special hosted by the network's own "All Access" star Rachel Perry, who has made Maxim's list multiple times in the past and has worn Alex Woo's jewelry numerous times. The fast-paced one-hour program featured interviews with the lucky winners as well as looks at their accomplishments since last year. It is was not surprising that "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria was ranked #1. For the event, Pontiac and Maxim co-sponsored a nationwide online contest called "Pick Me Up" featuring Maxim Hot 100 model Rachel Perry and the new 2006 Pontiac Solstice roadster. The winner with the best pick-up line received a brand new 2006 Pontiac Solstice hand-delivered by Perry. In the ads, the VH1 VJ wore Alex Woo's Sienna Cuff so "every line, every curve, is shaped by pure desire."
